Thornbury Group Parish Council takes the care of personal data very seriously and is committed to take all steps necessary to keep it safe, secure, up to date and to collect no more than is necessary for the function we have collected it for. We will destroy personal data once there is no longer an administrative reason to keep it and we will not share it with others without seeking your agreement unless obliged to by law. We will not contract others to process it and if you ask to see the records we hold we will be happy to provide them.

Freedom of Information

The Parish Council is committed to being open and transparent in the way it conducts its business and will make every effort to allow the public to view and access information held by it. To obtain information Thornbury Group Parish Council publish all routine information such as agenda and minutes of meetings on the website. Information can also be obtained on request from the Clerk. Once a request is received, the Clerk will acknowledge the request and give an approximate timescale of the response. If the request involved requires photocopying and printing documents, a fee will be payable to recover all costs including postage and any other transmission costs from the applicant.
